Members of the National Institute of Certified Floor
Covering Inspectors Association (NICFI) enjoy full
membership in the World Floor Covering Association (WFCA)
and the NICFI.
Membership in the WFCA offers a “World” of
opportunities including Group Rate Insurance's, College
Scholarships for your children or grandchildren, and for you
a Trade Scholarship Fund of $500.00 per year
toward educational class and seminar fees. WFCA will pay 50%
of a seminar or training event up to $500.00 per year, per
company. WFCA allots a certain amount of money to the
fund each year, therefore, Trade Scholarship funds are not
guaranteed as they are available on a first come, first
serve basis.

The NICFI publishes a directory listing all members and
services. The directory is hand delivered to
manufacturers annually. The directory, listing all members
and services, is one of the most respected
books in the Industry and used by all major manufacturers.
The association also maintains a web site that brings
members inspections from end users, lawyers, hospitals,
commercial sites, general contractors and more. NICFI Members are reporting great success from the
Associations web site.
This association is owned and managed by its members with
Officers and Board members elected
by the membership. The slogan “By Inspectors – For
Inspectors” is more than a slogan, it’s a
fact.
“The most talked about event in Dalton” is the
Convention. This October will mark the 5th year the
NICFI
has held its convention and Social Evening, and each year is
bigger and better than the year before.
Last year’s Social Evening was held at the Dalton
Country Club attended by Inspectors, Claims Analysts,
Claims Managers and Technical Services, and “what a
night it was”. 250 were in attendance to enjoy a
great time, great food, wonderful prizes and two attendees
won a Cruise!!
The inspectors receive training from manufacturers
teaching inspection techniques and informing of
new problems in manufacturing. Industry Leaders from various
Trade and Industry Associations attend
the convention to speak as well as learn. This event is the
only annual event for Independent Flooring
Inspectors and is designed to the needs of the Inspection
Industry.
